Presented in 4 Big Dances
SFU Theatre, School for the Contemporary Arts, Burnaby, BC

Choreographed by Kathryn Ricketts in dialogue with Greg Snider, with objects for performance by Greg Snider. Music by Martin Bartlett, with lighting by John Macfarlane.

Six aluminum objects were designed and built for a performance by 25 dancers from the fall FPA-327 Repertory II Class taught by Kathryn Ricketts. Choreography was arranged around the use of these objects, according to their physical characteristics and movement possibilities. The objects were based on corona rings provided by BC Hydro.

Music selections for the piece were by the late composer Martin Bartlett, who taught in the School from 1982 until his death in 1993. This work was dedicated to him.
