A plate of Georgian Polish wired safety glass is pressed between two inner tubes, held in place by matching crosses of notched and chamfered creosoted timbers, bolted apart. The mirror symmetry of the piece is superimposed on the glass in its reflected images. A soft squeeze in a hard situation.
